Electrolyte replacement hydration drink, SOS Hydration, has appointed Fiji Water co-founder, Doug Carlson, to its board as chairman.
Carlson co-founded Fiji Water in 1996 and served as CEO from 1996 to 2005.
Under Carlson’s leadership, FIJI Water grew to the second highest selling imported bottled water brand in the US. During his tenure, the brand was also launched in 12 other countries and developed a distributer network of 300 distributors.
SOS Hydration started in May 2013 by brothers James and Tom Mayo and James’ wife, Dr Biance Lizaola.
“People are beginning to realise the importance of staying properly hydrated and SOS is the perfect product for that,” said Carlson.
“I am excited about working with the SOS team to make it a world class success.”
