Alter Eco hits Coles

578129_389143464454388_1768487072_nAlter Eco will be launching its full range of organic chocolate bars and truffles into Coles supermarkets from next month.

The rollout follows the release of two new products by Alter Eco including its new Dark Salted Burnt Caramel chocolate bar, and new Sea Salt and Salted Caramel Chocolate Truffles.

Ilse Keijzer, founder and director, said the company is  is excited to expand its presence in Australia and launch its range of chocolate bars and truffles into Coles supermarkets.

“This expansion provides more consumers accessibility to our high quality, organic, fairtrade, and carbon compensated products, and most importantly, it helps us strengthen the impact we have on the small scale farmers we work with by enabling us to increase the amount of cacao we purchase from them at a fair price,” Keijzer said.

Co-founded by Ilse Keijzer, Alter Eco is a values-based brand of specialty food products that brings exotic, high-quality, and healthy ingredients from around the world to consumers in Australia, all while directly benefitting small producers globally.

Alter Eco’s products are Certified Organic, Fairtrade Certified, Carbon Neutral Certified, and are not made withany genetically modified ingredients or gluten ingredients.

Alter Eco practices full circle sustainability usingaforementioned Fairtrade principles, producing only organic and non-GMO foods, creating minimal waste by working towards 100 per cent compostable packaging, and offsetting carbon emissions.

These principals are entwined with Alter Eco’s commitment to the highest quality ingredients and taste in all its products.

Alter Eco will be available in Coles supermarkets nationally on April 13, 2015 and will continue to be stocked at major natural food retailers, leading health food stores, independent supermarkets, and pharmacies.
