The rollout follows the release of two new products by Alter Eco including its new Dark Salted Burnt Caramel chocolate bar, and new Sea Salt and Salted Caramel Chocolate Truffles.
Ilse Keijzer, founder and director, said the company is is excited to expand its presence in Australia and launch its range of chocolate bars and truffles into Coles supermarkets.
“This expansion provides more consumers accessibility to our high quality, organic, fairtrade, and carbon compensated products, and most importantly, it helps us strengthen the impact we have on the small scale farmers we work with by enabling us to increase the amount of cacao we purchase from them at a fair price,” Keijzer said.
