V Energy has launched V Riise, which the brand claims is the first energy drink to feature a slow-release energy formulation using isomaltulose, a naturally derived, low-GI sugar.
The drink comes in two sparkling flavours – Mandarin and Blackcurrant – blending isomaltulose with fibre, fruit juice, and natural caffeine from tea to deliver a sustained energy boost.
“This is the only energy drink of its kind in Australia and New Zealand,” said Ruth Muller, chief research and development officer at Frucor Suntory. “The inclusion of isomaltulose is a game-changer for the category. It’s scientifically proven to provide a slower, more stable release of energy.”
V Riise, the latest innovation from V Energy, was developed in response to growing demand for more sustainable energy solutions.
The new range is available in 330ml cans at major supermarkets, petrol stations, and convenience stores across Australia and New Zealand.
Last year, V Energy relaunched its ‘most-loved flavour’, V Black.
