Marking the beginning of a larger brand ambassadorship, the development has seen the launch of the Passionfruit and Dark Chocolate Cookie, sold exclusively in David Jones stores for a limited amount of time.
The product combines a shortbread biscuit base with passionfruit puree, and pieces of dark chocolate.
“We wanted to celebrate being 25 years young with an exciting, relevant and delicious partnership,” says Emilie Emond, marketing manager, Byron Bay Cookie Company.
“Christine is known as one of Australia’s dessert queens so she was a natural fit for our brand, and we look forward to creating more unique flavours with Christine over the coming months.”
There are also plans for further flavours by Christine Manfield to be released in 2016.

Manfield’s portfolio of restaurant work includes running Paramount in Sydney from 1993 to 2000, East@West in London from 2003 to 2005, and Universal from 2007 to 2013.
The Passionfruit & Dark Chocolate Cookies is available as a 200g tin in David Jones stores nationally, with plans to extend the range to selected cafes nationwide in early 2016.
