Jurlique looks to revamped capital centre

JurliqueSkin care brand, Jurlique, is launching a new concept store at the revamped Canberra Centre on July 13.

Originally Monaro Mall – the nation’s first fully enclosed shopping mall, Canberra Centre has undergone several major renovations including $500 million worth of redevelopment in 2016.

Jurlique said its new Canberra concept store will be a fitting addition to the redeveloped shopping mecca.

“Experience is paramount to Jurlique … that’s why we’re so excited to open our brand new concept store in Canberra Centre,” Ann Donohue, Jurlique GM ANZ told Inside Retail.

“Already available and so well received at Myer and David Jones, we’re thrilled to provide our loyal Canberrian customers with the full Jurlique experience and immersion into our brand. Being in the heart of Canberra, we expect this to be one of our top performing stores within the next 12 months.”

The new concept has been unveiled in three of the brand’s 16 company stores: Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast, the Mid City store in Sydney’s CBD and Westfield Chatswood. Central to the new store design is an investment in a new cloud-based point of sale technology which has been implemented in all 16 Australian Jurlique stores.

The design takes cues  from the Jurlique farm and the Adelaide Hills with the materials a mix of natural, handmade and highly textured finishes including silver travertine, Tasmanian oak, brushed brass and terracotta tiles.
