Domino’s Pizza has introduced extreme shakes and ice cream sandwiches to their menu. The new, hand-crafted desserts combine some of Domino’s most popular dessert offerings – including churros, choc fudge brownies and Thickshakes – into one, brain-freezing, over-the-top, treat.
Domino’s Australia/New Zealand CEO Nick Knight said the new desserts were specifically chosen to be the most over-the-top and indulgent treats the fast food giant has ever offered.
“Australians have a sweet tooth – when we launched Thickshakes the response was amazing, and customers told us they wanted more,” Knight said.
“When our customers choose to indulge with a dessert, they want to go all out, with rich flavours, and quality ingredients that don’t leave you wanting more – our extreme desserts are giving our customers more of what they want.
“With our Choc Churro Crazy Shake for example, we’ve combined three different desserts into one, and with our Choc Lava Super Shake, we’ve added our most popular ever dessert, the Choc Lava Cake, into a Thickshake. We’re also launching ice cream sandwiches and (for the brave) double ice cream sandwiches, which combine all-natural ice cream and a Dutch waffle, which are unique for the Australian quick service restaurant market.
“Because our ice cream is real, and served at -14C, our desserts can be delivered to customers throughout Australia – with drivers equipped with special cooler bags to ensure they arrive just as they’re made in store. We’re excited to be able to deliver to customers ice-cold, extreme desserts and hot, fresh pizzas and sides, all in the one order – making it even easier for our customers because all of their favourite meal options are available from the one place.”
Domino’s is also rolling out its ‘Free your Flavour’ menu, adding new ingredients, flavours and menu options, over the coming weeks.
