XXXX extends helping hand to bottle shops and pubs in flood zones

XXXX beerThe XXXX has out a number of assistance measures in place for bottle shops, pubs and clubs impacted by the flooding in Townsville and North Queensland.

Any Lion Beer Australia stockist in the affected flood zones has been given access to extended credit and invoice terms; stock allowances and altered delivery conditions and free cleaning for draught beer systems to get pubs back open as soon as possible.

“Our customers are the ones who serve their community, and their venues are often the places where people come together after such disasters to check on each other, share a beer and talk about getting everyone back on track,” said Queensland Sales Director Pat Donohue.

The XXXX Brewery will also donate $50,000 to GIVIT in support of locals affected by the floods.

On Monday February 11 , the XXXX Alehouse in Milton will host ‘Nick Cody and friends: A Tenna for Townsville’ in partnership with Triple M, with all proceeds going to GIVIT’s Townsville relief efforts. The brewery itself was impacted by floods in 2011.

“We have been there for Queensland through some of our worst natural disasters, and we want to ensure help gets to those who need it as quickly as possible,” Donohue added.
