As Australian waistlines continue to expand, foods that are high in salt, sugar and fat are constantly under scrutiny.

This week, the Queensland government introduced a ban on food ads across its billboards, train stations and transport in an effort to tackle the obesity epidemic.

State Health Minister Steven Miles said: “This is about doing what we can to protect our kids from the kind of marketing that leads them to make unhealthy choices.”

Today we’re asking if you think advertising such foods encourages bad eating habits in kids or whether it’s just a nanny state policy.
