Cadbury has teamed up with ice cream brand Peters for the first time, in a collaboration that will see the launch of a variety of frozen treats in the lead up to summer.
The first range which is out now, features Cadbury’s classics, Picnic, Crunchie and Freddo frog, in ice cream form.
Freddo sticks, shaped in the face of the famous frog, are available in two flavours, Vanilla & Chocolate and Strawberry & Vanilla, both with reduced fat ice cream. While the Freddo Party Cake is a triple-layered ice cream cake decorated with Freddo heads.
Crunchie bar ice cream is a frozen treat that combines honeycomb-flavour with crunchy pieces and coated in Cadbury milk chocolate. While the Picnic stick has a caramel centre, with caramel sauce, peanut and wafer pieces, and coated in Cadbury milk chocolate.
The second range launching this month, includes 1.2 litre Cadbury tubs in five different varieties: Vanilla with Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, Chocolate with Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, Picnic, Crunchie and Oreo.
Cadbury is now a permanent fixture in the Peters portfolio, with more products set to be launched under the Cadbury brand in the future.
“We worked closely with the team at Cadbury to bring the real taste of Cadbury to the freezer,” Peters head of marketing Andrea Hamori said.
“We wanted to create delicious products that taste like the iconic flavours Aussies know and love, and in a size that’s perfect for sharing with family and friends. We’re excited to be able to release these just in time for the warmer months.”
Both ranges will be available from convenience and grocery stores nationally from this month.
