Remedy Drinks introduces cultured soda range

Remedy Drinks is hoping to convince consumers to switch from sugary soft drinks to its new handcrafted, live cultured soda range which launched recently.

Remedy’s new range reinvents classic flavours like Cola, Ginger Beer, Lemonade and Lemon, Lime and Bitters, with natural, organic ingredients such as Kola nut, orange juice, cinnamon and ginger.

“Creating a range of live cultured sodas is the natural extension of our work to encourage more people to make the switch and incorporate delicious, live cultured drinks into their everyday diet for the good of their overall health and wellbeing,” said Emmet Condon, co-founder of Remedy Drinks.

“Our mission is to create tasty, live cultured drinks with no sugar naturally, giving everyone the option to make a healthier choice. With the launch of Remedy Sodas there is now, literally, a Remedy drink for everyone – whether that be a Cola fan or those who prefer a Ginger Beer. This new range is really about broadening the appeal of live cultured drinks and making that swap as easy and tasty as possible,” Condon said.

Remedy nutritionist Jacqueline Alwill said that soft drinks are based on traditional fermented drinks which were made at home.

“Remedy Sodas are handcrafted the old school way in small batches
but they are fermented to remove all of the sugar. This is how sodas are meant to be – full of live cultures and short chain fatty acids for all-natural goodness and flavour,” she said.

Remedy Sodas are now available in all major supermarkets, petrol, convenience stores, café, health stores and online.
