Poll: Are you optimistic about Christmas trade?

Australians are expected to spend almost $53 billion across retail stores during the busy 2019 holiday season, an increase of 2.6 per cent on the $51.4 billion spent in 2018, according to Roy Morgan.

But these prediction are down on the 2.9 per cent growth expected last year.

As catastrophic bushfires continue to rage on in New South Wales, many are choosing to stay indoors rather than expose themselves to the hazardous air quality.
