Not shaken, not stirred: Bond embraces non-alcoholic beverages in latest Heineken ad

Beer brand Heineken has released two TV commercials featuring actor Daniel Craig as James Bond ahead of the release of the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die, in April 2020.

The first commercial shows Craig in a high-speed taxi sequence as he hunts down his missing passport, before relaxing with a cold Heineken.

“Ahead of the release of No Time To Die, we wanted to bring a twist to the iconic character and show how Bond lives beyond the film – as we believe, once James Bond, always James Bond,” Gianluca Di Tondo, senior director, Global Heineken Brand said.

The beer giant is an official partner of the last eight James Bond movies and is also using the opportunity to showcase its latest non-alcoholic creation, with an ad dedicated specifically to Heineken 0.0%.

Heineken has previously heroed the non-alcoholic version in its partnerships with UEFA Champions League and Formula One.

“This part of the campaign, as well as outlining the consumer choice available in our portfolio, has already created significant media debate,” he added.

The James Bond campaign also features limited edition packaging.
