Aldi recalls apple juice over contamination fears

Discount grocer Aldi has recalled PICK’D Cloudy Apple Juice two-litre bottles from its shelves stores due to microbial (Mycotoxin – Patulin) contamination. It pulled the products out of its supermarket stores in WA, SA, VIC, ACT and selected stores in NSW.

The NSW Food Authority said in a statement that the apple juice bottles affected have use by dates including: 22/05/2020, 29/05/2020, 17/06/2020, 7/07/2020, 15/07/2020, 27/07/2020, 30/07/2020, 7/08/2020 and 11/08/2020. No other dates were affected.

Consumers who have bought PICK’D Cloudy Apple Juice in 2L bottles are urged by the NSW Food Authority to return the purchased drink to the place of purchase to get a full refund.
