Shelf life: Whittaker’s and Bundaberg create Brewed Ginger Caramel

New products this week include Whittaker’s Brewed Ginger Caramel, Nexba’s new probiotic soda range and Colgate’s smart electric toothbrush.

Whittaker’s Brewed Ginger Caramel

Whittaker’s has teamed with Bundaberg to launch Whittaker’s Brewed Ginger Caramel 250g Block, celebrating trans-Tasman spirit. The new flavour is a combination of ginger caramel, which is made from Bundaberg’s ginger brew, and Whittaker’s 5 Roll Refined Creamy Milk chocolate.

“Bundaberg Brewed Drinks’ similar approach in using locally grown ginger and even growing and harvesting some of its own ginger, sourcing only the best ingredients and making its products locally fits perfectly with our ethos,” said Holly Whittaker, COO at Whittaker’s.

Whittaker’s Brewed Ginger Caramel is Bundaberg’s first collaboration with another brand on a product to be widely distributed in supermarkets across Australia and New Zealand.

“It makes sense for Australia’s best soft-drink and New Zealand’s most trusted brand to join forces, particularly during a time when consumers are looking for affordable ways to treat themselves,” said John McLean, CEO of Bundaberg.

Whittaker’s Brewed Ginger Caramel 250g blocks will be available exclusively in Coles stores across Australia from August 31.

Nexba introduces a new probiotic soda range.

Nexba has launched Australia’s first naturally sugar-free probiotic soda range, featuring Cherry Cola and Pineapple flavours.

According to the company, each Nexba probiotic soda 375ml bottle contains 1 billion live probiotics for an immunity boost.

The company said it has high hopes for the new range as consumer demand for probiotic-enriched products and sugar-free alternatives is booming.

“Nexba has always been about having the best of both worlds – epic taste but with no sugar and nothing artificial. Our new Probiotic Soda range couldn’t be truer to this,” said Drew Bilbe, Co-CEO and co-founder of Nexba.

Nexba has also added new flavours to its classic 1L soft-drink range in Coles, including creaming soda and passionfruit.

Nexba’s new range is available exclusively at Coles, in-store and online, at RRP $7.50.
