Krispy Kreme and Violet Crumble wed in doughnut range

South Australian confectionery brand Violet Crumble is teaming with doughnut cafe chain Krispy Kreme, in a new varietal.

The new range features two flavours – Violet Crumble Shatter and Violet Crumble Kreme. While the Shatter is coated with double chocolate and filled with honeycomb cream filling, the Kreme is “a twist on the signature Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut” topped with a piece of the enrobed chocolate bar.

The new range is distributed at 150 OTR stores across South Australia.

“Our team has been working closely with Robern Menz (Violet Crumble’s manufacturer) over the past few months on developing and refining the products ready for launch to ensure that we capture what people love most about Krispy Kreme and Violet Crumble in the new doughnuts,” said Mark Higginbottom, GM at Krispy Kreme South Australia.

He said the new product range is 100-per-cent South Australian with the chocolate manufactured at Robern Menz’s factory in Glynde and the doughnuts made at Krispy Kreme’s factory store at West Croydon.
