Beverage maker Ampersand Projects has rolled out wildberry-flavoured Pink Gin Soda &. The NSW company said the new drink has just 73 calories, without sugar and gluten-free.

It is sold in a minimalist, pastel-pink can, targeting the 25 to 40-year-old drinker market.

Pink Gin Soda & is a crisp, berry flavoured twist to the brand’s classic Gin Soda, and is also suitable as a base for mixing drinks, with mint, lemon or berries and liqueurs or mixers to make a good cocktail.

Ampersand Projects founders started the drinks business in NSW.

Alex Bottomley and Marcus Kellett co-founded the company in 2018 in NSW and bagged the coveted Startup Award at the Sydney Young Entrepreneur Awards 2019.

Ampersand has inked a deal with supermarket group Woolworths which will see it sold at Dan Murphy’s, as well as at selected BWS and independent bottle shops.
