Disinfectant brand Dettol and online rental booking platform Airbnb have partnered on a new offering of Dettol products to hosts – Turnover Kits for cleaning between visitors and Welcome Kits to leave for guests.

The kits are available in Australia and more than 20 other countries, including the US, UK, India and Brazil.

The new kits are available via the account dashboard and they include Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer, Dettol Biodegradable Disinfectant Wipes and Dettol Multi-Purpose Cleaner.

“At Dettol, we’re dedicated to protecting the moments that matter most to Australians, and for many, that includes travelling – whether it’s to visit family and friends or seeking a new adventure. We want all travellers to feel confident when exploring our beautiful country,” said David Rankine, GM at RB Health ANZ.

“Cleanliness remains top of mind for people looking to travel, and our partnership with Dettol allows us to support hosts by making cleaning products more readily available. The Dettol brand is a household name and the cleaning bundles will help provide more peace of mind to hosts and guests,” added Dorothy Kilroy, director of community, Airbnb.

Airbnb hosts can also access additional information and resources, such as the online platform’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is endorsed by Dettol’s scientists and backed by research.

Dettol said by helping hosts meet Airbnb’s cleaning standards, the partnership promotes responsible travel.
