Confectionery brand Allen’s has rolled out the Sourz Frogs Alive and giving the popular red frog lolly a sour twist.

The new flavour has a sour, tangy flavour at first followed by a raspberry taste. The product has no artificial colours.

“We know how much Aussies love Allen’s Frogs Alive and that sour lollies are a trending flavour profile among lolly lovers. We thought we’d combine the two and create something we know our customers will love,” said Nestle head of marketing, confectionery Joyce Tan.

“Allen’s Sourz Frogs Alive also follows the success of Sourz Tangy Randoms and Sourz Snakes Alive so we’re excited to see the reaction of our customers once they taste how sour they really are.”

Allen’s Sourz Frogs Alive, has an RRP of $2.95 and goes on sale in Woolworths stores from tomorrow (February 17), in Coles and independent stores from March 1 and in convenience stores from April.
