Arnott’s launches broad range of gluten-free biscuits

Arnott’s launches broad range of gluten-free biscuits

Arnott’s has launched gluten-free versions of some of its most popular biscuits – Tiny Teddy, Scotch Finger, and Choc Ripple.

Exclusively available at Woolworth’s, the new range is made with a gluten-free flour blend of corn, tapioca, rice, sorghum, and soy.

The brand says the gluten-free biscuits were developed to the “exacting taste specifications” of its culinary team to ensure the snacks offer the same flavour, texture, and quality as their classic versions.

A recent report from Medical Journal Australia shows that almost 25 per cent of Australians are avoiding gluten, and Google search queries about gluten-free food doubled from a decade ago.

As consumer appetite for gluten-free snacks continues to increase, the biscuit brand said it wanted to put an end to “second-rate snacks that don’t taste great”.

“With millions of consumers seeking out snacks that are both gluten-free and delicious, we decided it was time to treat them to biscuits that meet their dietary requirements without compromising on taste,” said Graham Fairbairn, brand manager, Arnott’s.

The brand has also worked with Coeliac Australia to ensure the snacks meet the strict requirements of the organisation’s endorsement program and will feature Coeliac Australia’s logo on the packaging.

Arnott’s Gluten-Free Biscuits are available for RRP $4.70 per pack.
