(Source: supplied )

Darrell Lea is bringing back its Christmas puddings to supermarkets nationwide.

The company says its Christmas puddings are its best-selling seasonal product and has been a family favourite dating back to 1940. The pudding range will have the same recipe as it used before.

Using 25 tonnes of milk chocolate and 10 tonnes of desiccated coconut, Darrell Lea will make more than 70 tonnes of milk chocolate Christmas Puddings this year, filled with nougat and topped with Christmas holly.

Besides the chocolate puddings, Crunchy Christmas Balls and Christmas Rocklea Road also feature in the company’s Christmas range this year. All of its products are free from palm oil and sourced from 100-per-cent sustainable cocoa.

The Darrell Lea Christmas Pudding can be purchased at Woolworths, Coles, Aldi and Big W with an RRP of $10.
