V2Food has partnered with Mars Food brand Dolmio to introduce a meat-free meal bundle, which can be bought from Coles online.
Tapping into the fast-growing popularity of meat-free meals, Domio pasta sauce and V2Food launched their campaign this week. The partnership aligns with V2Food’s new Taste-a-tarian campaign which aims to bring more plant-based meals to people.
Mars Foods Australia’s portfolio marketing manager – Global Brands, Jade Lish said: “In partnership with V2Food, we want to give Aussies inspiration to turn their favourite pasta meals plant-based”.
“More people are cooking at home, and pasta remains among the top two meals made by Australians, whether feeding hungry families or a tasty dinner for one,” she said.
V2Food’s chief growth officer Andrew May welcomed the growing trend in the number of people integrating plant-based meat in their everyday meals.
“A recent YouGov study found 63 per cent of Aussies were open to buying plant-based meat as long as it tastes good,” he said.
As part of the launch, there will be a social media campaign engaging influencers to create their favourite Italian meals using Dolmio and V2Food’s plant-based mince.
