Melbourne-based bakery Charlie’s Fine Food has made its debut on Aldi Australia’s shelves, launching its first product with the supermarket chain after more than two decades in business.

The ready-to-bake Choc Chip Cookie Dough is now available nationwide in Aldi’s chilled dessert section, priced at $6.49. The launch follows 12 months of development and marks a major milestone for the family-owned company.

“This is the first time we have collaborated with Aldi and have found the whole team fantastic to work with,” said Jacky Magid, director of sales and marketing. “We hope that this is the first of many Charlie’s products we develop for Aldi’s shoppers to enjoy.”

Founded in 2004 by Magid and her husband, Ken Mahlab, Charlie’s Fine Food’s products are now stocked in major retailers including Woolworths, Coles, Walmart, and Bunnings.

The business gained further recognition in 2022 with the launch of its Mini Melting Moments range in Woolworths Metro stores across the country.
