Ethique unveils sample discovery packs

(Source: Facebook)

New Zealand’s zero-waste beauty and lifestyle label Ethique has unveiled a new product called discovery packs, is an assortment of mini sample soap bars for hair and skin.

Brianna West founded the company in 2012. It specialises in producing solid soap bars which are free from preservatives, formaldehyde, sodium lauryl sulphate and other unwanted ingredients. The bars are wrapped in water-soluble, plastic-free packaging which is biodegradable.

The brand’s new sampler packs allow customers to try the products before committing to larger packs.

“Samplers have always been the way people tried the products (and fell in love with them), but they’ve always been difficult to merchandise on retailers’ shelves as they’re so big,” said West on LinkedIn.

She hinted that the brand is looking to further expand internationally and add more stores under its belt. Currently, the products are available from more than 2500 retailers in 16 countries.
