Campos Coffee launches recyclable coffee capsules

Campos Coffee is expanding its porfolio with the launch of its first range of recyclable aluminium coffee capsules.

The range features three variants: Superior, King St and Single Origin and all can be used in coffee machines that use pods, such as Nespresso appliances.

Campos Coffee says the capsules were created to meet demand from the growing number of Australians who have bought pod machines since they started working from home more.

The brand has partnered with TerraCycle to make it easy for consumers to recycle their coffee capsules after using them.

“Campos is recognised as a symbol of quality and excellence in Australia because we have been sourcing and roasting specialty coffee for 20 years,” said Adam Matheson, head of Coffee at Campos Coffee.

“You’d be surprised to learn that there’s a lot more to developing a good coffee capsule than just roasting and grinding high quality, fresh beans. Capsule design and technology are key to delivering a great coffee experience. Too many capsules in the market are inconsistent or fail when brewing. Our aluminium capsules are world class and deliver the aroma and flavour our stunning coffees offer.”

The new capsules are sold at Campos Coffee flagship stores, select Campos Coffee partner cafes across the country and through the company’s website, with an RRP of $10.50 per 10-pack.
