Fruit for good: All profits from new Chobani yogurt go to Foodbank

Yogurt brand Chobani says it will donate all profits from a new Fruit for Good product to Foodbank Australia.

Moreover, Chobani has encouraged its supply-chain partners to do the same.

Some of Chobani’s suppliers and partners who have supported the project include Woolworths, dairy supplier MPD/ADFC Milk, Visy, foil supplier The Van Dyke Press, and pottle supplier PakPot.

Chgobani’s media agency Match & Wood provided pro-bono hours on the project.

“Fruit for Good demonstrates the collective influence that businesses can have to strengthen communities and livelihoods,” said Hamish McMickin, head of supply chain at Chobani Australia.

“We knew we were onto something special when suppliers and partners right along our supply chain wanted to jump on board and support this collaboration with Foodbank Victoria. Not only is this a testament to our long-standing, robust supplier relationships, but also the willingness of the business community to reduce the prevalence of food insecurity in Australia.”

Chobani is a long-term partner of Foodbank Australia and has donated the equivalent of over 1 million meals to the organisation.
