Kombucha brand Remedy Drinks has unveiled a new energy drink range across 7-Eleven stores nationwide.
Dubbed Remedy Kick, the drink is made with all-natural green coffee bean extract boasting a fruity flavour with no added sugar.
The base of the brew is made from the brand’s cult-favourite kombucha which includes live cultures, antioxidants and organic acids.
Remedy MD, Chris Gillard, said the business researched the needs of its consumers concerned with the impact energy drinks have on their health.
“People are seeking a mental boost without the crash and are looking for something to help them focus at work or while out and about. They don’t, however, want the sugar or artificial ingredients that are found in some other energy drinks.”
The brand says each drink packs 80g of caffeine per can, equivalent to a cup of coffee and offers 9 calories per serve.
Flavours in the range comprise Blackberry, Lemon Lime and Mango Pineapple and it retails for $4 for a 250ml can. The brand will expand this offering to other independent retailers in November.
