Ruffie Rustic Foods has rolled out a high-protein plant-based meal range across Coles and Woolworths stores nationally.
The Plant Powdered range is suitable for vegans, vegetarians and flexitarians alike and offers 24g of protein per serve. The trays it is sold in are compostable.
Meal options comprise Veg Bolognese, Chickpea Rendang with Red Lentils and Broccoli, and Balls with Pasta and Southern Style Sauce.
Anand Surujpal, GM of marketing and innovation at Patties Foods, (which owns the brand), said the range is for anyone wanting to incorporate more vegetables and meat alternatives into their diets.
