WABA releases ‘Drink West Drink Best’ mixed pack

A new ‘mixed cube’ of some of The Western Australian Brewers Association (WABA) members’ best beers has been released ahead of Christmas.

The Drink West Drink Best mixed cube features 16 West Australian breweries, including New World Pale Ale, Swan Valley Old, Indian Ocean Ale and 123 Days Later Pilsner.

The launch is a collaboration between WABA and Australian Liquor Marketers (ALM). Andy Scade, WABA’s chairperson, said the new cube’s range offers Aussies “the best beers coming out of their own state” and also is a “great opportunity” for West Australia breweries to unite and display some of the best from the region.

“We’ve got breweries that are thousands of kilometres away from each other and everywhere in between, showcased in our mixed pack,” said Scade.

Given the approaching holiday season and the limited supplies, WABA predicted the mixed cubes will be in high demand and sell out quickly, as it did last year.

“We’ve had so many people asking when they’ll see the Drink West Drink Best cube in stores again so it’s great to see how much consumers love it,” Scade added.

The mixed carton can be purchased in Cellarbrations, The Bottle-O and Porters Liquor stores across West Australia.
