Confectionery company Cadbury has launched a new range of Slices chocolate bars inspired by classic Australian bakery treats.
The new Cadbury Slice range comprises three flavours: Crackle, Hedgehog, and Old Gold Slices Mint Creme.
- Crackle is made using Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, rice crisps, and toasted coconut.
- Hedgehog has caramelised white chocolate, almond pieces, toasted coconut, and rice crisps.
- Old Gold Slices Mint Creme is made with 45 per cent cocoa, generous chunks of dark chocolate, peppermint-flavoured creme and crispy mint pearls.
Olympic champion Ian Thorpe has been tapped to help promote the new range, which he says captures the essence of the country’s most beloved baked goods.
“Slices are so universally recognised here in Australia, and there is nothing quite like a slice from an Aussie bakery,” said Thorpe.
Paul Chatfield, VP for marketing ANZ at Mondelez International, added that the new Slices range features familiar and nostalgic flavours that chocolate fans would enjoy.
“We know Aussies share fond memories of bakery slices and hope they too will build new memories with family and friends as they share a Cadbury Slices block.”
The new Cadbury Slices range is available nationwide at all major supermarkets for an RRP of $5.50.
