Coles is set to launch a debut range of low-sugar chocolates from Sydney-based confectionery maker, Moreish.
The company has been manufacturing for a variety of well-known labels for more than 30 years and this is the first range under its own name.
The brand says it is a healthier, low-sugar alternative to other chocolates on the market and would suit health-conscious consumers.
According to a 2017 Australian Health Survey, 51 per cent of Australian consumers are trying to reduce their sugar intake since over half exceed the recommended World Health Organization’s daily limit of only 10 per cent.
Coles will stock the following flavours which retail for $5 each:
- White Gold Cookies and Cream.
- White Chocolate Raspberry.
- White Chocolate Birthday Cake.
- Milk Chocolate Almond.
- Milk Chocolate Biscuit.
