Four Pillars’ Bloody Pinot Gin makes a comeback

Four Pillars’ Bloody Pinot Gin has made a return after being sold out in less than a week last year.

The Vintage 2024 is described as a ruby-coloured gin that offers a similar, yet brighter sibling to Bloody Shiraz Gin. It also boasts fruity notes of rhubarb, rose petal, and strawberry.

Cameron Mackenzie, head distiller and co-founder of Four Pillars, said that despite early rain, the company was still able to pull off a “bloody good” Pinot.

“It also helps we don’t just get grapes from one place,” said Mackenzie. We source from a couple of vineyards and use multiple clones to get a more complex gin at the end. The only downside is we can only get so much of it.”

Four Pillars Bloody Pinot Gin is available for an RRP of $84 online, and in gin shops at the Four Pillars Healesville Distillery and Four Pillars Surry Hills Laboratory.
