Healthcare business Wellnex Life says the growth and expansion of its brands have boosted its sales trajectory in an operational update.
The company’s brands include Wakey Wakey, The Iron Company, Nighty Night, Mr. Bright, Pharmacy Own, and Wagner Health.
According to unaudited accounts, the business has achieved $28 million in sales for FY23, a 51 per cent increase compared to the previous period.
“This financial year has been a year of growth across the whole business that has set us up for long-term success,” said Wellnex Life CEO George Karafotias.
“Wellnex is well and truly on the path to being an innovative and respected company in the pharmaceutical market both domestically and internationally.”
In its June quarter, the company acquired Australian pain relief brand Pain Away and secured global expansion supply agreements with Haleon in the UK, Ireland and UAE with an additional eight products.
The company has also launched four new products under the Wakey Wakey brand during the quarter along with two flavour extensions.
Another new brand – Nighty Night – has received “strong interest” following its debut in Woolworth, Coles and Chemist Warehouse stores.
Last November, the company launched online retail platform TheSet.Co with 19 products initially.
