Australian spirits company Thirsty Group says its additive-free Baxter Vodka – made with a blend of sugarcane and grain – has won Double Gold – the top prize – at the San Francisco Spirits Competition.
Jake Gautreaux, founder and MD of Thirsty Group, said: “The response has been amazing for such a young and small distillery trying to give it a go without the resources of the big guys. We truly do have the most amazing team which has made this happen.”
Thirsty Group’s portfolio includes other premium brands, such as Aubrey Liqueurs, Burn City Spiced Rum, Southern Spirits Co and Truepenny Gin.
