Nourish Foods has entered receivership with John McInerney and Matt Byrnes of Grant Thornton appointed as receivers and managers.
The family-owned company entered voluntary administration early this month as it struggled to maintain the working capital to sustain its operations. TPH Advisory were appointed as voluntary administrators.
The receivers are seeking the urgent sale of the company’s business and assets and have initiated an expressions of interest campaign.
“Preference will be given to offers for the whole of the business and assets of Nourish, with minimal conditions,” said McInerney.
“Assets include the various brands (Nourish Foods, Whole Kids, Offbeat Snacks and Just Add) and associated recipes, know-how, finished products, packaging and EOS promotional material for each.”
Established in 2005, Nourish Foods is a family-owned company that manufactures a range of organic, additive-free and allergen-friendly snacks.
Since its launch, it has grown into a multi-channel brand with a customer base across convenience, grocery, pharmacy, health, and online sectors.
Co-founders Monica and James Meldrum expressed continued support for the brand, under the control of a purchaser, to make sure it remains available to customers and reaches its full potential.
