Nourish Foods – the Australian and family-owned food company behind Whole Kids – is launching its third equity crowdfunding campaign through Birchal.
The company says that since its last raise it has taken strategic measures to streamline operations and refine its product portfolio. These initiatives have resulted in improved margins and enhanced lead times, strengthening its overall business performance.
The company also introduced two new brands: OffBeat, a plant-based snack targeting Gen-Z, and Just Add, a pre-portioned baby food supplement.
In 2020, the company raised more than $1.1 million from about 600 investors through its first equity crowdfunding campaign, and a subsequent round a year later drew more than $1.2 million from 500 investors.
Monica Meldrum, CEO and co-founder of Nourish Foods, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming campaign: “The support we received from our investors has been instrumental in driving our growth and innovation.”
She expects about 39 per cent of current investors will reinvest, which reflects the strength the company witnessed in previous rounds.
“Our shareholders have become a vital part of our journey, providing invaluable feedback, research support, and contributing to our product development,” she concluded. “We are grateful for their dedication and belief in our brand.”
