Tempo Group of Companies has acquired Nourish Foods, maker of Whole Kids, and its businesses after the company entered voluntary administration after struggling to maintain working capital and keep its operations running.
“We are pleased to advise that on October 5, the business of Nourish, associated brands and related IP were sold to Tempo Group of Companies, who is the new owner and operator of the Nourish brand and its business,” said a spokesperson for Grant Thornton.
John McInerney and Matt Byrnes of Grant Thornton were appointed as receivers and managers of Nourish Foods on September 13.
Shortly after their appointment, Grant Thornton launched an expressions of interest sale campaign to find a buyer for Nourish Foods and its businesses.
“As receivers and managers, we are pleased to have been able to support the brand through to a positive outcome and find a suitable buyer who is motivated to see the brand continue,” said the spokesperson.
