Independent brand owner and distributor Drinksology Kirker Greer (DKG) has appointed Ali Pickering as its chief marketing officer.

DKG said Pickering’s addition marks the final piece of its “executive team puzzle” and solidifies its position in the industry with a clear focus on brand, market, and people.

Pickering has more than 20 years of marketing experience, notably as MD at Molson Coors, where she gained expertise in brand building and strategy with beer and cider brands across 50 markets worldwide.

Her tenure saw her lead an engaged team of marketing professionals who delivered “outstanding commercial results” and innovated to close gaps in their portfolio.

Commenting on her new role, Pickering said her main objective is to build the company’s brand portfolio through strategic brand development and implementation of strategies to deliver exceptional experiences.

“Together with Steven Pattison, Richard Ryan, Donal McAteer, and Ryan McFarland, we are well-poised to drive DKG’s strategic direction and growth strategy,” she continued.

“We have already put together clear brand, market and people prioritisation models, allowing us to build our brands across our focus markets and Global Travel Retail.”

DKG’s portfolio includes brands such as Ukiyo Japanese Spirits, Kirker Shamrock Whiskey, Ginato Italian Gin and Jawbox Irish Gin.
