US energy drink Celsius expands into Australia and New Zealand

American beverage company Celsius Holdings is launching its energy drink Celsius in Australia and New Zealand with Suntory Oceania as its exclusive manufacturer and distributor.

Celsius is known for its range of fitness drinks designed to support energy and metabolism. Its lineup includes flavours such as orange, grapefruit, raspberry açaí, and watermelon.

“We expect to continue our international growth at a measured pace, targeting strategically important energy drink markets and employing our proven playbook to build a strong and passionate consumer base,” said John Fieldly, chairman and CEO of Celsius Holdings.

The company has also expressed interest in sales and distribution with Suntory Great Britain and Ireland, which is expected to commence in the second quarter of this year.

“Celsius is a brand that is breaking new ground and delivering a totally different consumer experience,” said Darren Fullerton, CEO of Suntory Beverage & Food Oceania.

“As we build Suntory Oceania, we are delighted to be partnering with Celsius to evolve our portfolio and deliver new growth opportunities for all retail partners.”
