Seedlab Australia launches latest incubator for emerging FMCG businesses

Seedlab Australia has revealed the SME lineup for its upcoming Bootcamp 10. A total of 55 new and emerging FMCG businesses from across Australia and New Zealand will take part in the intensive incubator program, which is backed by Woolworths Group.

Over six weeks, Bootcamp 10 will provide participants with knowledge, tools, and industry connections to support their business development. The program will consist of interactive sessions, masterclasses, and live discussions, and will give participants access to industry experts and connections.

Kenna MacTavish, Seedlab Australia’s Head of Communications and Content (pictured above, right), noted: “Bootcamp 10 is our biggest Bootcamp ever. The quality of participants in Round 10 has taken the benchmark to a new level, with a real sway towards better-for-you food and beverage businesses.”

Among the program’s participants are Mat’s Hot Shop, a Collingwood-based hot sauce retailer, Tahina, a Middle-Eastern street food restaurant in Northcote, and Innerbloom, a Mount Maunganui–based cold brew coffee company.

Bootcamp 10 will be followed by Seedlab’s advanced accelerator program, Cultivate. The program will provide select businesses with five months of intensive training to prepare a pitch to Woolworths Category Managers, with many businesses hoping to have their products featured on the supermarket giant’s shelves.

According to Kenna MacTavish, Bootcamp alumni often remain a part of the Seedlab ecosystem after their first incubator program: “Many participants from earlier Bootcamp cohorts regularly participate in Seedlab events, and actively engage with new participants. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how we’ve built a strong community and network of support. Ultimately, I just love championing these businesses in all of their endeavours.”
