Coles and Arnott’s have teamed up to launch limited-edition Wagon Wheels-inspired Hot Cross Buns for Easter.
The product combines marshmallows, raspberry fudge, jellies, and chocolate chips, giving a unique spin to the classic snack.
Brad Gorman, Coles GM for commercial, bakery, dairy, and frozen, said it made “perfect sense” to combine Wagon Wheels with hot cross buns.
“It’s the feel-good nostalgic taste of Australia, now in a hot cross bun,” said Gorman.
The new flavour adds to Coles’ recent lineup of creative bun combinations, which includes flavours like Vegemite and Cheese, Red Velvet, Burger Sauce, and Carrot Cake.
Coles Arnott’s Wagon Wheels-inspired Hot Cross Buns are available in-store and online for an RRP of $5.50 for a four-pack.
