Paradise Beach Purveyors has issued a recall for its 150g Smoked Trout and Chive Dip due to microbial contamination (Listeria monocytogenes).

The products have been available for sale at independent retailers, including IGA in NSW; and at Harris Farm Markets in NSW and QLD. The affected batches have markings of Best Before 07 OCT 2024

Listeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice. Consumers who have purchased the product are advised to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
