Alcohol recovery beverage Dodge has teamed with Amber Beverage Group to distribute its products throughout Australia, starting on October 1.
Dodge, founded by Alec Balcombe and Braeden Leahy, offers hangover recovery drinks made with Chinese vine tea extract and other ingredients such as ginger, Asian pear juice, and red ginseng.
The products also contain milk thistle, turmeric extract, and vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, and C, according to the brand.
“This partnership is a major milestone for Dodge. Until now, our focus has been on creating the most effective recovery product on the market,” said Leahy.
“This collaboration marks a key step in our transition into a global growth phase. That’s why partnering with Amber Beverage Group, with its outstanding track record in growing innovative brands, is incredibly exciting. With their expertise, we’re ready to reach bigger markets and get Dodge into more hands.”
Dodge’s product will come in a 200ml slimline can and is described to be consumed “as the last drink of the night”. The brand says that its main ingredient – Chinese vine tea extract – contains dihydromyricetin (DHM), which helps improve alcohol metabolism and lower acetaldehyde, a common cause of hangovers.
The partnership with Dodge also enables Amber Beverage Group to address a market gap for recovery drinks that help to prevent the detrimental effects of drinking.
