Asahi Super Dry has partnered with the Japanese art project Teradamokei to launch a limited-edition model kit designed with cans and packaging inspired by the Lunar New Year.
Established in 2011 by Naoki Yerada and Fukunaga Printing, Terasamokei is known for its craft of small paper model kits used for architectural models and dioramas.
The key visual of the limited edition packaging incorporates the art company’s signature 1:100 model kit concept.
Each artwork depicts social scenes from the Lunar New Year, where various celebration elements are laid out.
The design also spotlights barley and hops in yellow to pay tribute to the core ingredients that form the backbone of Asahi Super Dry. In contrast, speech bubbles represent people’s online and offline connections with their loved ones during festive occasions.
At the same time, the celebration’s red festive colours and the brand’s silver tones give the design a modern flair.
The limited-edition Model Kit design Asahi Super Dry cans are available in supermarkets, online, and in select restaurants across Apac, including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and, for the very first time, Vietnam.
