Coles has partnered with Harry Potter as part of a new campaign to encourage more families to consume more fresh food. Beginning this month, shoppers can collect Harry Potter-themed disks with every $30 spent in-store or online.
The collection includes 72 discs featuring characters Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Professor Dumbledore, and Lord Voldemort. Additionally, the discs are made from 100 per cent FSC-certified cardboard as part of the company’s commitment to sustainability.
The program offers four ways to play with the discs:
- Collect and Connect – Build towers and structures by stacking and connecting the discs.
- Duelling Game – Use disc points to challenge others in wizard duels.
- Stack ‘em & Whack ‘em – Stack discs and slam them to see which ones land face up, earning more to keep.
- Collect and Trade – Trade discs to complete collections and earn points for a Hogwarts house.
To further engage families, Coles has introduced the Hogwarts Fresh Food Challenge, encouraging children to consume the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables.
Families earn points for their Hogwarts house by eating fresh produce, with items like watermelon and cucumber assigned specific point values. The house with the most points wins the coveted House Cup.
Shoppers can also accelerate their collection by purchasing select products from participating brands, such as Nutri-Grain, Nescafe, and Garnier, to earn bonus disc packs.
Coles CCO Amanda McVay expressed excitement about the initiative.
“It’s a perfect mix of fun and collectability, bringing the magic of Harry Potter into everyday life,” she said. “Whether you’re a Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
