Baby leaf salads producer Hussey & Co MD Jeremy Haw has been awarded the Australian Grower of the Year Award in the 2025 National Horticulture Awards for Excellence, recognising the innovation of the industry-leading growers.
“To receive the Australian Grower of the Year Award in our 50th year is a testament to five decades of innovation, excellence, and the relentless pursuit of quality,” said Haw.
The company has launched Hussey Group – its first grower-processor model in the national industry – operating in Victoria and WA, along with its six local farms, to meet market demands in the region and globally.
“By combining two geographically spread, highly capable, grower processors into a single national supply chain, Hussey Group has created an unparalleled model of efficiency, sustainability, and reliability,” said Jeremy.
