Flour and bakery manufacturer Allied Pinnacle has named Anthony Ogilvie as its first head of sustainability, as part of the company’s plan to advance its ESG agenda.

Ogilvie brings more than a decade of experience in sustainability, environmental management, and ESG reporting, having worked across the not-for-profit, government, and corporate sectors. His previous roles include positions at Mission Australia, Goodman Fielder, Transurban, and ASX-listed McPherson’s.

“His expertise, values and global perspective align with our commitment to operating responsibly, engaging with our agricultural partners, and supporting a sustainable future for the food industry,” said Allied Pinnacle CEO David Pitt.

As head of sustainability, Ogilvie will lead efforts to embed sustainability across every aspect of the business.  His mandate includes ensuring compliance as a Group 1 reporting entity while also creating long-term shared value for customers, employees, and communities.

The company says the newly created role will be critical in shaping and delivering a future-focused sustainability strategy across Allied Pinnacle’s operations, supply chain, customer base, and community partnerships.

“We bake the future from flour and have done so for over 100 years, and this appointment will allow us to continue to do that, strengthening our ESG capability, ensuring long-term resilience in our operations, and driving us to be better every day,” Pitt added.
