Kenvue, the consumer healthcare division of Johnson & Johnson, has named Anindya (Andy) Dasgupta as its new group president for Asia-Pacific, effective July 14.

Dasgupta succeeds Ellie Xie, who will stay on temporarily to support a seamless leadership transition.

With nearly three decades of experience in global consumer goods, Dasgupta brings a wealth of expertise from senior roles at GSK, PepsiCo, Fonterra, and Imperial Brands.

“Dasgupta is a transformational commercial business leader with a strong track record of driving growth and delivering value,” said Thibaut Mongon, CEO of Kenvue.

“He brings proven expertise in commercial strategy, sales, marketing and business development. We are excited to welcome him to our leadership team and look forward to his results-driven leadership across our Asia Pacific region.”

In his new role, Dasgupta will oversee Kenvue’s fully integrated Asia-Pacific operations. He will be responsible for steering the company’s regional growth strategy, leveraging the accelerating pace of innovation in markets, data, technology, and science.
