Haigh’s Chocolates has introduced its Best of Australia collection, a range inspired by the country’s landscapes, coastlines, and regional flavours.
“The creativity of our chocolatiers has truly captured the essence of Australia in this special collection, which proudly honours the country’s diverse and spectacular flavours,” said Peter Millard, CEO of Haigh’s Chocolates.
The collection includes:
- Dark Cabernet Sauvignon Ganache – white chocolate ganache infused with Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret River, coated in dark chocolate.
- Milk Chardonnay Ganache – milk chocolate ganache with Chardonnay from the Hunter Valley, enrobed in milk chocolate.
- Milk Leatherwood Honey & Walnut Nougat – nougat with Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey and Australian walnuts, coated in white and milk chocolate.
- Dark Bush Spiced Almonds – South Australian almonds coated in dark chocolate infused with bush spices.
- Australian Collection Box – nine milk and dark chocolates paired with wines from regions including Hunter Valley, Margaret River, and McLaren Vale.
The range also includes the Australian Single Origin Milk Chocolate Tablet, produced from cocoa beans grown in far North Queensland.
To mark the launch, Haigh’s has partnered with Robert Gordon Australia on a bespoke pottery mug painted in red ochre and filled with the brand’s Milk Scorched Almonds.
“Growing up, a box of Haigh’s Chocolates was always a treat. It’s such an honour to now be able to bring our own family’s craftsmanship to theirs,” added Hannah Gordon, director of Robert Gordon Australia.
The Best of Australia collection will be available from October 7 across Haigh’s Chocolates stores in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra, as well as online.
