Maxibon, an ice cream sandwich brand, has introduced the Choc Chip Cookie flavour to its frozen snack range.

The product consists of a cookie-dough-flavoured ice cream slab containing chocolate chips.

One side of the unit is held between two chocolate chip cookies, while the opposite side is finished with a chocolate-based coating and additional cookie pieces.

“We know the biscuit side is the favourite part of the Bon for many fans, so this launch was all about enhancing that experience even further with a creation Aussies haven’t yet seen from Maxibon,” said Andrea Hamori at Peters Ice Cream.

Maxibon Choc Chip Cookie is currently available at 7-Eleven stores. The product will later be sold nationwide in multipacks at Coles, Woolworths and independent stores for RRP $11.50.

Last year, Peters’ Maxibon Peanut Jams with Butter ice cream returned to supermarket shelves after eight years of hiatus.
