Foodservice packaging provider BioPak has appointed senior Woolworths exec Guy Brent as CEO to lead its next stage of commercial growth.
Brent spent 14 years at Woolworths Group, gaining extensive experience in foodservice operations, private-label development, and retail leadership.
Most recently, he was appointed as the MD of the Woolworths Food Company, overseeing food production, foodservice operations, and product development.
He takes over the position from Gary Smith, who co-founded the company in 2006.
As CEO of BioPak, Brent will now lead the company’s efforts to scale its international operations and accelerate its commercial growth within the sustainable foodservice sector.
“His proven people-first leadership approach, strategic focus and track record of delivering outstanding commercial performance make him exceptionally well-placed to lead the business through its next phase of growth,” said BioPak’s board.
